Inscryption is a deckbuilding roguelike from Daniel Mullins Games, played across a candlelit table from Leshy in his cabin, and it changes its own rules twice before the credits. It came out on 19 October 2021. The free Kaycee's Mod update later spun the Act I card game off into a standalone roguelike with stacking challenges.

Each act pays for cards differently. In Act I you sacrifice Squirrels to cover blood costs and bank a bone every time one of your creatures dies. Act II splits its packs between four Scrybes, so Leshy's beasts, Grimora's undead, P03's robots and Magnificus's Mox casters all sit in the same pool. Act III is P03's factory, and nearly every card there runs on energy. Sigils carry across, which means Airborne and Touch of Death read the same in the cabin as they do in the factory. Not every sigil starts on a card, though: Act I totems, Build-a-Card and Bounty Hunters can all draw one onto yours. Kaycee's Mod goes back to Act I rules and stacks 13 challenge levels on top, each demanding more points of handicap than the last.
