Bills Must Be Paid is a short incremental game about smashing piggy banks to cover the debts stacking up on your desk. Money buys a permanent skill tree, better hammers and desk gadgets. Street Smarts perks reshape each run, Big Toni lends cash at a price, and declaring bankruptcy starts a new cycle that pays prestige points.

Overview
Stamina sets the length of a run. Swings drain it, so the game is about how much money you squeeze out before you're winded. Bills come due after a fixed number of runs: 4 for most, 8 for Rent, with interest between 5% and 25%. Big Toni will front you the cash, and the five Loan perks in Street Smarts only work while you owe him. Borrowing is a build decision as much as a rescue.
Declaring bankruptcy is the reset. A new cycle pays prestige points, which buy rings and bracelets, from a 1-point Damage Ring up to the 1,000,000-point Double Loot Ring. The skill tree is the other long sink: 211 single-purchase nodes that cost about $1.35 billion to clear. Some prestige rings reward paying bills early, so clearing debt fast can feed the next cycle. At the end of the bill list sits TAXES, a $30M boss bill with 0% interest and 3 runs to pay.
