Zeekerss built Lethal Company solo and pushed it into Steam Early Access in October 2023, and it hasn't left yet: four Company employees drop onto abandoned, monster-infested moons, strip whatever's left for scrap, and haul it back to the ship before the door seals. Miss the quota too many cycles running and the entire crew gets fired, literally, no severance. The wildlife is the obvious danger. The bigger one, most nights, is a teammate with a shovel and bad aim.

Scan something once in Lethal Company and Sigurd’s danger rating for it stays in your ship terminal for the rest of the save. Scrap doesn’t get that same permanence. Every item rerolls its Credit value as soon as a level loads, and the Company’s buying rate starts around 30% at the outset of a quota cycle before climbing to 100% right at the deadline. That trade-off decides most runs: how much weight you’re willing to carry against how much you already know is waiting for you. Sigurd put a danger percentage on 22 of the Bestiary’s 30 creatures; the rest are marked Unrated instead of a guess, and the Maneater blows past the scale entirely at 1000%.
