Scrap is anything you can drag out of a moon and sell to the Company for Credits: tools, decorations, office junk, the odd corpse of something that used to have a name. None of it has a fixed price, and every item rolls between its own floor and ceiling as soon as a level loads, so the same Gold bar that nets 210 Credits one trip might barely clear 100 the next. New crews tend to sell everything the day they land instead of waiting for the Company's buying rate to climb, and that mistake costs them plenty.
Every item on this list rolls a random Credit value between a floor and a ceiling as soon as a level generates, then Lethal Company multiplies that raw number by 0.4 to get the figure you see at the terminal. The Magic 7 ball rolls 90 to 180 raw, but you’ll only ever find it worth 36 to 72 Credits in the ship. Every value on this page is already that converted, sellable number.
A fully rolled piece of scrap still doesn’t pay full price fresh off a moon. The Company’s buying rate opens around 30% early in your quota cycle and climbs toward 100% as the deadline closes in, so the same item pays more the longer you sit on it. Panic-sell on day one and you’re giving Credits away; hold to the last day and every price here pays out in full.
