Overview
The Forest has the most challenges with 25, then the Desert with 19 and the Graveyard with 11. Most are won by killing all the bosses, though the Crypt Escape runs only ask you to get out of the first crypt. Multipliers run from 1.5x silver up to 2x, and the 2x runs earn it. Pacifist on Forest Tier 1 bans weapons entirely. Completing challenges also unlocks things, including Anvil at 3 and Spaceman at 6.
How it works
Difficulty modifiers
The challenges named oh no, oh shit and what the fuck show up on every map and tier. They scale enemy HP, damage and speed together, by 1.25x for oh no, 1.5x for oh shit and 2x for what the fuck, paying 1.5x, 1.75x and 2x silver to match. On the Graveyard they unlock in order, so oh shit waits until you've beaten oh no there.
Timed runs
Speedrunner and Speedrunner+ cut the clock down hard, as low as 4:15 on Tier 1 of the Forest and Desert. The Graveyard's Crypt Escape ladder is tighter still. It starts at 25 seconds to escape and drops to 20, 15 and finally 10, and each step unlocks only after you clear the one before.
