What each ore, bar and drop is used for
Overview
Only 32 of the 130 materials come from a recipe. You mine, chop or loot the rest, and Dryad Log is the busiest, going into 142 items.
How Materials Work
Ores and Bars
Ore becomes a bar at the Forge. Broken tools smelt back into bars too, so scrap gear is stock.
Ingredient Groups
Logs and stones count toward Any Log and Any Stone recipes, so whichever kind you have lying around fills the slot.
