Weapon DPS at every upgrade tier, with and without armor
Necesse upgrades nearly every weapon to tier 10 (the throwables and the Snow Launcher stay put), and that flattens the field: a Wood Sword ends up within a few percent of a Gold Sword. Pick by how the weapon attacks, then check the tier switch above the table. Of 193 weapons (74 melee, 43 ranged, 44 magic, 26 summon, 6 throwing), 186 upgrade, 132 have a recipe and 52 drop from a boss or mob.
Armor takes half its value off every hit, so a weapon that swings ten times a second loses far more than one that swings twice. The overlay shows DPS against 40 armor as well as none.
attack speed = 1 / (max(attack time, cooldown) / 1000) DPS = damage x projectiles per attack x attack speed hit vs armor = damage - 0.5 x max(0, armor - armor pen), at least 1
Tier 1 is a big jump, and every tier after it adds a fixed step up to tier 10. Throwables that can’t upgrade stay at tier 0. The tier switch above the table changes every number.
Each class draws from its own enchantment pool, and the cost climbs with the weapon’s tier.
