Most of this costs Gold. Price of Midas wants your Health instead
Data from build 23661331, updated
Charon stocks 25 wares split across three pools: one healing item, one trait, and one general consumable every visit, so you're never stuck staring at three heals with nothing else on offer. Twelve are consumables that resolve as soon as you buy them; the other 13 are traits that stick around for a set number of Encounters before running out. Gold pays for almost everything except Price of Midas, which trades a slice of your Health for a bigger pile of Gold. A handful of wares show a cost range instead of a flat number, since the game rerolls both price and payout inside that band each time the item comes up.
Gold buys almost everything at the Well, the same Gold that piles up from fights and door rewards. Price of Midas breaks the pattern: it costs 10 to 30 Health and pays out 11 to 54 Gold, trading life for a bigger purse. A few wares post a range instead of a flat price, since cost and payout both roll at random. Buy Ferry Voucher and Charon's prices drop 30% for the next 6 Encounters.
Consumables resolve as soon as you buy them: Splintered Shield grants Armor, Life Essence tops up Health, and Fateful Twist gives you a free random Well item. Traits linger instead. HydraLite lasts 3 Locations, Ignited Ichor lasts 8 Encounters, and a few, like Yarn of Ariadne, fire once on your next Boon and vanish. Archaic Seal changes the math for your next trait, expiring it after 2 Guardians instead of Encounters.
