All 326 draftable cards ranked inside their own class, graded on what wins Ascension 20 runs rather than what reads well on a single turn.

Slay the Spire came out in 2019 and the meta settled a long time ago, which is exactly why the gap between a card that looks strong and a card that actually wins Ascension 20 runs is worth writing down. These placements are editorial opinion, not something the game's files decide: community consensus plus a lot of A20 climbing, and reasonable players will argue about the B tier forever. Only draftable cards are here, so Basic starters like Strike, Defend and Bash are absent, and so are Special cards the game hands you rather than lets you pick (Shiv, Smite, Insight, Miracle, Safety, Through Violence). Curses are not ranked either. If you came looking for where Regret sits, the answer is outside your deck.
Browse all 367 cardsCards are ranked against the others in their own class, because an Ironclad pick competes with Ironclad cards for deck slots and nothing else. The bar is a full A20 climb: three acts, Act 1 elites you have to beat before your payoff is online, and a boss that punishes a deck built around one card. A card that needs Barricade or Catalyst beside it is graded on how often you actually get there, not on its ceiling in a perfect draw. Deck slots are the scarce resource on A20, so small cards that do one small thing get punished harder here than their raw numbers suggest. Notes call out the cards rated well above or below where their reputation puts them.
