Growth days, regrow windows, and sell price for all 50 seeds
Data from build 16826371, updated
Parsnip pays for itself in three days flat; Sweet Gem Berry takes most of a month, grows once a year, and nets 3,000g when it finally comes in. That gap says more about a crop than its sell price ever will, and every one of the 50 seeds here sits somewhere between those extremes. Regrow windows matter more than either number: a crop that regrows keeps paying out for weeks off a single planting, while a one-time harvest means starting from seed again after every cut. Get a crop’s season wrong and the growth numbers stop mattering, half of the 50 won’t sprout outside their window.
A days-to-maturity number and a regrow number tell two different stories. Cauliflower dies at harvest and needs replanting from scratch every time, while Blueberry and Ancient Fruit get planted once and keep paying out every few days after. Ancient Fruit is the extreme version: 28 days to first harvest, then 550g every week straight through Spring, Summer, and Fall in a greenhouse.
3 quirks decide where a crop belongs on your farm. Trellis crops (Grape, Hops, Green Bean) grow upward and block movement, better suited to a fence line than the middle of a field. Paddy crops (Unmilled Rice, Taro Root) grow faster planted next to water. A handful of others, Wheat, Kale, Amaranth, Fiber, and Unmilled Rice among them, need a scythe instead of a simple grab to harvest.
