Sell price, edibility, and buff data for everything you can hold, sell, or eat
Data from build 16826371, updated
Strip out world litter, weeds, stones, twigs, and the catalog still runs past 700 items: Fruit, Minerals, Artifacts, and the skill books Gunther keeps behind the library counter, among plenty else. Each entry carries sell price, whether you can eat it, and what buff it grants if you do, details the crafting and inventory menus don’t show side by side. 51 of those items grant a status buff on eating, Coffee for Speed and Magic Rock Candy for Luck among them. Geode drops get tracked too, since a fair number of minerals only ever turn up cracking rocks open at the Blacksmith.
Base sell price is whatever the item lists before quality or processing touch it. Quality tiers add a flat bonus on top, silver, gold, and iridium stars, and turning a raw item into an artisan good, wine from Grapes, cheese from Milk, usually multiplies the payout again. Every base price is a floor, not a ceiling.
Edibility measures the energy and health an item restores raw, and it’s almost always less than what the same ingredient gives once it’s cooked into a dish. A buff like Speed or Luck only lasts a set number of minutes, so timing when you eat it matters as much as which item you pick. Save the strong ones for a specific job, a Speed buff right before a long Skull Cavern dive does more than eating it on the walk to the mine.
