Unlike relics, items can be unequipped, passed to a better hero and sold at x0.66. Most carry flat stat changes, with an effect on top. Crests and Glyphs are the odd ones: they make the holder count as a class, so class-based effects treat that hero as one. Zeus's Thunder is Irini's alone.
