Every hero ranked for demo patch 0.5.13, with the Rank B specialization to take on each.
Karsu, Niklas and Grace top the list on patch 0.5.13. Karsu's range 5 arrows melt bosses, Niklas eats an item every fight for permanent stats, and Grace carries the team from the reserve. A hero here is only as good as its best Rank B specialization, so every tile names the spec to take. Funke, the old Red Rift favourite, has slid since 0.5.5 took the flat Burn off Wildfire.
Placements weigh three things: win rates from thousands of uploaded Endless and Red Rift runs, every balance change through 0.5.9 (the demo's last balance pass) and the fixes since, and how each hero's kit holds up from Act 1 into Endless. Where the run data and the patch notes disagree, the patch notes win, because most published win rates mix pre-0.5.9 runs in. Specs are judged against the other two specs on the same hero, never across heroes.
