Prisoners' Quarters has four exits, and on a fresh save two of them are shut. The Vine Rune opens Toxic Sewers and the Teleportation Rune opens Dilapidated Arboretum. Routes split and rejoin like that all the way down. Each column on the map is one world depth, with boss arenas at depths 3, 6, 8 and 10 (The Crown), and the Throne Room leads on to the Astrolab and Observatory at 5 BSC. Scroll counts vary a lot by route. Ancient Sewers has 3 Scrolls of Power and Cavern and Clock Tower have 4 each, while the boss arenas have none.
Spider Rune is the busiest gate, needed on seven exits, Prison Depths and Slumbering Sanctuary among them. Ram Rune gets only one, from Toxic Sewers down to Ancient Sewers. Some exits want Boss Stem Cells instead. Ramparts only leads to the Insufferable Crypt at 3 BSC, and both the Cavern and Guardian's Haven need 2.
Dracula's Castle shows up twice on the map, once at depth 2 and again at depth 7. Exits into both are locked behind the Return to Castlevania quest, part 1 for the early castle and part 2 for the late one, and the late castle only leads on to Master's Keep and Dracula.
