Mutations
Ygdar Orus Li Ox saves you once, but only if you take it at the first pick.
Data updated
Brutality, Tactics and Survival get 12 mutations apiece, and a coloured mutation grows stronger as you stack scrolls in its colour. Combo and Vengeance are red, Support and Tranquility purple, Necromancy and Berserker green. The other 20 are colourless and work the same in any build. Some are dangerous. Dead Inside doubles your max health and shuts off all healing except recovery, and Damned Vigor keeps you alive for 2 seconds after a fatal blow, then kills you unless you score a kill.
Colourless mutations don't care how you split your scrolls, which makes them the safe pick when a run's colour isn't settled yet. Ygdar Orus Li Ox is the famous one. It saves you a single time if you die while not cursed, has to be taken at your first mutation choice and can't be dropped afterwards. Acceptance halves the kills needed to lift a curse, at the cost of cursing you every time you eat.
Mutation blueprints come from the same places as weapons. The Time Keeper always drops Velocity, Oven Knights drop Kill Rhythm at Rare (0.4%), and Disengagement sits in a room of the Prisoners' Quarters. Cell costs top out at 200 for Acceptance, Damned Vigor, Disengagement and Wish.
