Match the generator’s nine slots to this grid, row by row from the top left, then use the terminal. A portal opens to this artifact’s trial in Bulwark’s Ambry.
Trial of Vengeance: Complete the Trial of Vengeance.
Compound Generator codes, laid out the way the terminal shows them
Data from build 21587608, updated
Risk of Rain 2 artifacts are run modifiers you switch on at character select, from Command (you pick every item) to Glass (allies deal 500% damage on 10% health). Each starts locked. Most unlock by entering a code in the Compound Generator and clearing the trial in Bulwark's Ambry. Rebirth has no code and unlocks at the Shrine of Rebirth.
The generator sits under Sky Meadow, a stage 5 environment. Seekers of the Storm adds a second one at the top of Helminth Hatchery, the other stage 5 option. Set all nine slots to match a code below, then use the terminal. Read codes row by row from the top left.
A correct code opens a portal to Bulwark’s Ambry, where that artifact is forced on for the trial. Grab the Artifact Key off the raised block and use it on the Artifact Reliquary to start the spawns. Monsters drop more keys, and each one you use chips at the Reliquary. Destroy it, take the artifact, and it unlocks at character select for every run after.
