Why the core items

Backup MagazineExtra Phase Blast charges are the best upgrade this skill has.
Focus CrystalYou fight inside 13m by design, so Focus Crystal's 20% is nearly always on.
Alien HeadShorter cooldowns mean more blasts per fight.

How to play it

Use Tactical Dive to close the distance, then blast.
Phase Blast's buckshot falls off with range, so don't use it as a sniper. Use Double Tap for anything far away.
Phase Blast doesn't interrupt Double Tap, so fire it between pistol bursts.
