16 Voucher lines, and the upgrade only shows up once you’ve earned it

Buy a Voucher between rounds and its effect sticks around for the rest of the run, no re-upping required. All 16 lines start with a base voucher you can grab from turn one: Overstock adds a card slot to the shop, Clearance Sale knocks 25% off everything in it, Hone makes Foil, Holographic, and Polychrome cards show up more often. Each base has a single upgraded form, but owning the base only gets your foot in the door. The upgrade itself stays invisible in the shop until you’ve also hit a separate condition, like spending $2500 total or redeeming 10 Voucher cards.
Every base Voucher across all 16 lines is available in the very first shop you ever see, so there’s no reason to skip one if you can afford it. They’re cheap relative to the value they lock in, and grabbing an early Overstock or Clearance Sale pays for itself fast. Buying the base is also the only way to start the clock on that line’s upgrade, which makes skipping a cheap Voucher early more costly than it looks.
Every upgrade condition is unique to its line, whether that’s redeeming Voucher cards or hitting a spending threshold, and each one is listed on that voucher’s own page since there’s no single rule of thumb to chase. Once unlocked, the upgrade doesn’t replace the base effect, it stacks on top of it. Overstock Plus adds a second extra shop slot on top of the first, and Liquidation pushes Clearance Sale’s 25% off to a flat 50%.
