The Drifter
For demo patch 0.5.13.
Take at Rank B
Backup: for Rush (15) every Vanguard gains 50% Max HP at Rank B, 80% at A and 110% at S. 0.5.13 fixed it to those numbers, so older win rates undersell it.
Instead
The popular pick: a channel that Stuns everything around him and inflicts 7 Burn per Rush triggered this game. It fits a Ming who anchors the front line.
Instead
Longer Rush abilities and a second of damage immunity. The weakest of the three.
Front-row Vanguard. Inner Flame Burns adjacent enemies every second (double during its Rush), so stand him in the middle of the pack.

He's a frontliner with a particular kind of fire: solid, dependable, quiet in the briefing. Ming owns what fits in one bag and has never needed more. Guilds kept offering him a career path; he kept politely losing the paperwork. The Hunt is lenient enough to keep him on anyway - knowing full well that one morning, his bag will be gone.
Ming lives in the moment, and it takes something real to grab his attention. There's something in how you lead that he can't quite let drift past.
