Bull can't equip weapons. He starts with +10 Armor and explodes whenever he takes damage, and that's the plan. Brotato's characters are less a stat spread than a rule set, and the rule usually costs you something big. Brawler gets +50 % Attack Speed with Unarmed weapons and -50 Range. Multitasker can hold 12 weapons but loses 5 % Damage for every one he carries. Only 10 characters are unlocked at the start, and Bull comes from winning a run in Danger 1.

How It Works

Starting weapons

The starting weapon list is the set you're allowed to open a run with, and it varies a lot. Well-Rounded can pick from 19, Multitasker from 33, and Bull from none. Some characters start with a weapon on top of that pick, like Ranger's Pistol, Engineer's Wrench or Brawler's Fist. Read the downsides too. Ranger's Max HP modifications are reduced by 25 %, and Knight's Attack Speed modifications by 50 %.

Unlocks

Most characters unlock through a challenge tied to how you played. Lucky needs 300 materials collected, Loud needs 5000 kills, and Engineer needs 5 turrets on the map at the same time. Winning with a character unlocks something else in turn, usually an item or weapon. A win with Well-Rounded unlocks the Potato.
