How to build Rowan
For demo patch 0.5.13.
Take at Rank B
Turns Rowan into an active tank: Fault Line Shields him for 25% Max HP, then Stuns everything in front of him for 4 seconds with damage scaling off Defense.

The Stall pick for Endless and Defense teams: permanent Max HP and Defense on every Stall trigger, shared with Tanks and Vanguards from the reserve. Take it early or not at all; Stall scaling you miss never comes back.

Shields on every auto attack, then bonus damage off current Shields. Fine on a solo frontliner, outclassed in a team.
Rank modifiers to take at A and S
Vanguard and Tank, so he draws from both pools. Front row, and Hearty's HP/S after Stall (10) keeps him topped up.

He's the wall the rest of the team forms up behind. Rowan spent six years mining crystals out of rifts for a mining company. The more crystals they took, the more the rifts started acting strange. He couldn't prove mining was the cause, but he believed it. Gaia was the first to say out loud what his gut already knew: take less, listen more.
Nobody ever truly leaves the Gaia community behind, but Rowan would join any guild that has a chance to end the crisis and cares about consequences. He'll know within a day whether yours does.
