Overview
Herbert gives 15 quests, Linda 12 and Nun 11, so the head of the guards, the tavern owner and the nun carry most of the story. Heffry gives none. Six of the 14 run shops or trade.
How Characters Work
Reputation
Seven characters keep a reputation of their own: Larry, Jack, Herbert, Albert, the Nun, Gunter and Linda. Januarius, Jully, Herm, Jeffry and Heffry share the village's. The Trademaster and Harold have neither. Quests raise reputation, and the village track also rises when you repair houses.
Characters Who Trade
Januarius, Herm, Jack, Gunter, the Trademaster and Harold all have a shop. Their stock grows when quests lift them a tier. The Bishop trades too, but he is not on this list.
