A sapling is a one-off cost, and a grown tree fruits in its own season every year. Each needs a clear 3x3 patch.
| Tree | Sapling | Per season | Pays back | 10 years |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 400t | 1,215t | First season | +11,210t | |

Pick a season and a planting day, and the calculator ranks every crop by what it clears in tesserae once seed costs come out. Late in a season the winner changes, because slow crops stop fitting.
Set Where, Season and your Seed budget first. Then flip to Kitchen & Mill or Animals, or hit Copy link to send someone your exact setup.
Each crop is priced per tile: harvests that finish before the season ends, times the sell price, minus every seed you buy. Spring Peas get 8 harvests for +780t a tile (135t × 8 − 300t seed), and Strawberry follows at +700t. Seed budget matters: 3,000t only seeds 10 tiles of a 300t regrower, which is why Pumpkin tops a 40-tile fall plot. The greenhouse never withers, so Rice Stalk and Wheat reach +4,950t a tile over a year.
Mill goods are a small, safe bump: Wheat 150t becomes Flour 175t, Sugar Cane 80t becomes Sugar 100t, and 2 Eggs (40t) make Mayonnaise at 90t. Cooking with your own harvest adds roughly 25 to 30% on the high-tier dishes, like Golden Cheesecake at +580t. Buy the ingredients and it flips. Bread from General Store Flour (200t) sells for 190t, a 10t loss per loaf.
Animals are slow to start. At 0 hearts a cow or a hen takes 50 days to earn back its price (2,000t and 1,000t). Raise the hearts and produce turns golden: at 10 hearts alpacas and horses top out at about 143t a day, and every animal pays for itself in 15 to 16 days. The Barnyard Bounty perks add 20% extra produce per tier, and Eggstra gives gold-egg layers a 50% shot at a bonus regular egg.
Crop quality doesn’t exist in Mistria, so there’s nothing to model there. Prize-Winning, Bountiful and Living off the Land are left out because the drops are tiny or random. Feed, watering stamina, greenhouse floor space, dish star ratings (their price effect is unconfirmed) and the town renown you earn by shipping don’t show up either. Treat every figure as base-price profit.
